At Lily's Leaves, we believe real change blossoms when communities unite for nature. This week, we were inspired by 30 Grade 9 students from Rato Bangala School's Sagarmatha House who transformed this belief into action. Their plastic waste cleanup at Swayambhu Nath Temple perfectly embodied our three pillars of conservation:
🌱 Education in Action - These young environmentalists demonstrated how classroom lessons translate to real-world impact.
🐒 Holistic Habitat Protection - Their work safeguarded both the temple's macaques and the delicate ecosystem, symbolized by a bird nesting in a stag tree.
♻️ Sustainable Solutions - By removing harmful plastics, they created lasting change for this UNESCO site.
This initiative mirrors our ongoing "Sacred Spaces, Healthy Places" program that combines heritage preservation with ecological protection. We're currently expanding this program to train more youth leaders - could your school be next?
