Greening Nepal's urban areas through the Miyawaki method - lily leaves social enterprise

Urban Forest Phase -IV

On March 16, 2026, Lily Leaves successfully completed the 4th phase of the Urban Forest project at Bagmati Corridor, Sanepa (Lalitpur Ward No. 2). Using the Miyawaki Method, approximately 5,000 saplings of 40 different native species were planted to create a dense, natural forest within the city. This phase further strengthens our mission of building sustainable and resilient urban landscapes while expanding green cover along the Bagmati Corridor. The growing forest continues to improve air quality, restore biodiversity, and support the mental and physical well-being of urban communities.
