Urban Biodiversity Restoration project Phase -I

On April 26, 2023, Lily Leaves Social Enterprises launched Phase I of the Urban Biodiversity Restoration Initiative at Kirtipur Nagarpalika Ward 9. The event was a wonderful gathering of representatives from various organisations, including Kirtipur Mayor Shree Krishna Man Dangol, along with members from Krishi Anusandhan Kendra, B.P. Koirala Bigyan Pratisthan, NAFHA, the Kathmandu Division Forest Office, and Tribhuvan University, who all came together to plant saplings and mark the beginning of this meaningful project rooted in Lily Leaves. The mission of creating greener, healthier cities, this initiative aims to protect biodiversity, restore urban habitats, reduce pollution, and contribute to the fight against climate change.
